Thank you for considering a WAG Rescue dog for adoption! Our dogs are in loving foster homes or they are located at our Refuge and Adoption Center being given special attention by our dedicated volunteers.

It is our goal to make the right match for the dog and your family based on the dog’s temperament and disposition and your lifestyle and activity level. We go to great lengths to provide our dogs with the best of care to ensure they are as healthy as possible prior to adoption.
The majority of our dogs are found and unclaimed in our rural area. Many of our incoming dogs have health issues due to neglect while others are rescued from nearby shelters that euthanize or they are owner surrenders. As a rescued dog, they come with unknown baggage. We do our best to heal them physically and emotionally.
Some of the dogs listed below are not quite ready for adoption as they are under medical or behavioral care (i.e. heartworm positive, recovering from surgery, etc.). We accept applications on dogs recovering from illness or injuries with the understanding that the actual adoption may be delayed depending on the health and well-being of the dog. If you would like to help our dogs receiving extra care, please consider making a DONATION.
